Galm from Susten

Galm from Susten is one of cycling's great tests — 19.3km of sustained climbing, gaining 1,607m from base to summit. Averaging 8.3%, the road kicks to 15% at its steepest — a brutal pitch that demands respect. The 20 hairpin bends define this climb — each switchback a landmark, each straight a test of resolve. At 2,236m, the summit rises above the treeline into an exposed, often windswept landscape. Located in Valais, Switzerland.
